Digital Certificates with SSH ??

Hi,

I am relatively new to SSH.  I have used Digital
Certificates with SSL, but not with SSH.  I wonder if
one can use Digital Certificates for authentication in
SSH?  If so, can it be done with mindterm's SSH
implementation? Or, does the SSH protocol only allow
the use of files with Public Key/Private Key for
authentication?
