2 Newbie Questions

Hello all,

I've got Mindterm 2.3.1 installed as an applet on my website, things seem to
work fine except for 2 items:

1.  The applet works fine (except for #2) and it connects to my host when I'm
on the local subnet, but when I try from offsite through a firewall it says it
can't connect to the local server.  Is there a port I need to open?  I connect
through a secure SSL link from offsite.

2.  When I was using SSH1 I could connect and logon fine (of course only from
the local subnet).  Now I'm using SSH2 and it won't let me login, it says
something to the effect of "passwork authentication not allowed".  I went to
the sshd_config and made sure the password authentication was turned on.

any help would be greatly appreciated.  Mindterm is exactly what I need to get
into my home network when I'm offsite.  Thanks in Advance.
