can't launch applet after mac os x 10.2 upgrade

hi

I use mac os x 10.2.6

Before the upgrade I used to launch the midterm.jar applet from my 
desktop with no problem.
Since the upgrade I can't launch the applet anymore, the applet is in 
the dock but nothing happens...


from terminal it come with this:
