Here is the first pitfall. You must generate a pub-file in the right
format (or convert it with ssh-keygen).

Have you told MindTerm that you want to use publickey authentication? It
defaults to password so if you want to use something else you must go to
the settings menu and select "New Server...".

Yes, MindTerm does accept a number of command line parameters. To get a
list run 'java -jar mindterm.jar --help'. Debugging is '--D'.
