A replacement for the Mindterm Java applet?

I am running into more and more kiosks and friends computers that do not
allow the Mindterm Java applet to run. Is there any comparable terminal
software based on Javascript? With all the attention being paid to Google
Mail, and other Javascript based web services, I am thinking that
Javascript will remain enabled on most machines.

We can install software on our web server, but want encrypted terminal
access from machines we don't control, and can't modify.
