Delete key acts like backspace, no matter what I try.

Hi

I love mindterm - I use it just about daily for access to my personal
server, email, etc. There is one thing though that really bugs me.
I can't seem to get the DEL key to delete stuff to the RIGHT of the
cursor. It just acts like backspace (at best)

Of course the first thing I tried was going to the Terminal Misc
Settings dialog and flip around all possible combinations of
"backspace sends delete" and "delete sends backspace" ... But to no
avail.

And I have looked through the settings, read the FAQ, and, I found the
user guide and the following applet settings for the <param> tag:

backspace-send Character to send on BACKSPACE (BS/DEL)
delete-send Character to send on DELETE (BS/DEL)

However I haven't found how to specify those values, or other values
for parameters, for that matter. Should I stick in a literal
Control-H? Or should it be represented in Octal? Hex? Decimal?
HTML ampersand-escape ( &#08; )? Backslashed oct, dec, hex?
Percent-escape ( %08 ) ?

Heh, I guess you get the point.

I almost forgot to mention, I use the popular program 'screen' (I
consider it a necessity more than MindTerm!) That's running on linux,
and my terminal type (for everything) is "linux" (e.g. in tcsh shell,
`set term=linux`)

I have tried with other terminal emulations, I've tried without screen
(like before running `screen -r` to re-attach), and I have tried IE,
Firefox, Mozilla, and Opera. No combinations of anything I try can
get the DEL button to delete the characters to the right of the
cursor.

Thanks for any help!

- Nate
