Logon from behind a firewall

I have installed the mindterm applet on my small webserver.
I now try to access my server from my work.
So I am behind a firewall and a proxy.

The applet pops up nicely but, I get access proplems, stoped in my firewall.
Error connecting to x.x.x.x, reason:
-> access denied (java.net.SocketPermission x.x.x.x:22 connect,resolve)

What I like to acomplish is that the applet shall log me into my
webserver, with http tuneling so no dns lookups is done from my
webbrowser.

Is it possible?
