SCOANSI emulation problems

One more thing, a continuation of my previous email describing xterm
emulation... With xterm, some odd keyboard things happen. In VIM,
backspace and delete destroy the character to the left and right of
the cursor, respectively (properly), with these paramaters in place:
  backspace-send = DEL
  delete-send = BS
... otherwise their functions are reversed.

However, HOME and END no longer function in VIM. They do still
function in tcsh, to take you to the first or last char in the line
you've typed. Also in tcsh, BS and DEL keys both perform destructive
backspace. I have not yet played in PuTTY with xterm emulation.

Wouldn't it be great if there were one place to set everything! Grr.
