Call it like this:

1. In Windows on the DESKTOP right click with the mouse and select NEW /
SHORTCUT.
2. In the first text box (location of the item) enter this (including
the quotes!):
"C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_05\bin\javaw.exe" -jar "C:\Program
Files\MindTerm\mindterm.jar"

Maybe you have to change the path of <javaw.exe> and <mindterm.jar>.

Subject: running MindTerm

I have a basic question having to do with running MindTerm.

The ReadMe says:

  How to run MindTerm
  ===================

With a modern java it is possible to launch MindTerm with:
      java -jar mindterm.jar

And that's what I do, but from within a batch file under
Windows XP Pro. This works fine. But as a result, I have
an open CMD window running the whole while that the MindTerm
app is running. I can minimize the CMD window, but if I
close it, then, naturally, the MindTerm app gets killed.

Is there a way to run MindTerm without requiring an open
CMD window under Windows XP Pro?

Thanks,
Dallman Ross
