I think this isn't possible. MindTerm uses the user path - which is this
one from windows. I don't know if you could change it with a parameter.
You have to ask the support.

I've not tried it - but maybe you could move them into your personal
directory (E:\..) but you must generate a .lnk (link) file (of each
config file) in <C:\Documents and Settings\Dallman Ross\mindterm\>.
Maybe MindTerm works with .lnk files also.

btw - for the MindTerm programmers:
I'm not a Windows programmer but shouldn't be used e.g. "C:\Documents
and Settings\Dallman Ross\Application Data\mindterm\" (incl.
"Application Data") instead of "C:\Documents and Settings\Dallman
Ross\mindterm\"? All other programs are using the "Application Data"
directory.

PS: You could change the complete "C:\Documents and Settings\" (also for
special users) with TweakUI from Microsoft (free download) - but I've
never tried it.

Thanks also to Per Allansson [per at appgate.com] for similar information.

Yes, this is what I was looking for. For the record, one does not
need to state the path to javaw.exe in a typical installation
of Java under Windows.

My shortcut now says:

 %windir%\system32\javaw.exe -jar
"D:\Connectivity\Tools\mindterm-3.0\mindterm.jar"

(Note where I have the app installed. I also will point
out that I have Java installed here:

 D:\Media\Platform\Java\jre1.5.0_05

(I try not to put things on C: aside from the OS.)

This brings up my next question: when I save a profile in MindTerm,
it wants me to use "MindTerm home" here:
MindTerm home: C:\Documents and Settings\Dallman Ross\mindterm\

I don't want it there. I want it under:
E:\Config\Connectivity\MindTerm

So how can I do that?
