Good catch. While we're revisiting the FTP-to-SFTP
bridge, I want to state that my issue with Control-M
chars showing up on FTP transfers to a Unix system is
still present. I had hoped maybe the coding work
done for the upgrade to ver. 3.0 would fix that. :-(
When I use regular FTP without the bridge, the problem
does not happen. When I use a bridge offered by another
vendor, the problem also does not happen! But I like
other features of MindTerm's product better.
I went ahead and installed GNU "flip" on my FreeBSD
web host so I could deal with the fallout from this
issue. But I would like it so much better if the
MindTerm bridge handled this correctly itself!
Like Tom, I use the bridge to overcome missing SFTP
support in the client I use for web design,
Macromedia's Dreamweaver MX (ver. 6.1).
