No special chars in Mindterm 3.01

Hi,

on the terminal in my company I can type a special character (> 127) e.g. "ä" (228) - but not on my server in the USA. I'm sure that it has worked with Mindterm 2.x.

The terminal settings in Mindterm are equal - except here in the company it's "xterm" and in USA it's "vt100".
Character set is always ISO-8859-1 (in MindTerm).

Any idea why?

Thanks,
Robert
