mindterm and blackberry 7290

Does any one know of issues using a blackberry 7290 with mindterm.  I have determined that
the blackberry has je2me and atleast one website I visited listed it as usable on a mobile 
device.  I spent all afternoon trying to get it to work.  Mindterm connects from a browser
that I opened on the server running ssh dameon but I don't get a terminal on the blackberry
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
