Mindterm slow over non-default loopback address

Hi,

 

I have been testing mindetrm SSH applet version 3.0.1 which makes use of the port forwards.  This is to access a Web Application that does not support HTTP 1.1 persistent connections so there are many open/close connections.  I find this to work very well if I use the local-bind address to be 127.0.0.1.  If I use local bind address of 127.0.0.2, it is very slow.   Is there a setting that I am missing?
