Hi all:
I'm having a problem with mindterm connections to a Solaris 8 server. I
recently upgrade from openssh 4.0p1 (openssl 0.9.7f) to openssh 4.3p2
(openssl 0.9.8a). The connections worked fine before the upgrade. Now,
sshd sporadically segfaults during the connection:
partial truss ouput:
3864: write(5, "\0\001D4071498 W fD3\n11".., 472) = 472
3864: poll(0xFFBED260, 1, -1) = 1
3864: read(5, "\0\001 \\n14 M86CCDD8A8C".., 8192) = 352
3864: time() = 1155072050
3864: getpid() = 3864 [3862]
3864: getpid() = 3864 [3862]
3864: Incurred fault #6, FLTBOUNDS %pc = 0x0006C4D4
3864: siginfo: SIGSEGV SEGV_MAPERR addr=0x00164000
3864: Received signal #11, SIGSEGV [default]
3864: siginfo: SIGSEGV SEGV_MAPERR addr=0x00164000
3862: read(7, 0xFFBEF280, 4) = 0
3864: *** process killed ***
3862: _exit(255)
This happens with mindterm 2.4.2 and 3.0.1. About half of the connections
work with no problem, while about half segfault. The connections are doing
the same thing.
Anyone else see this, or can anyone say they have mindterm working with this
sshd?
Bill
