tn3270 emulator and block mode

I just finished installing the app as a web applet, and have it self signed.  

For everything SSH related that I've tried, it works wonderful.

 

  The problem I have found is when I telnet to one of our Tandem boxes, and try to do something in block mode. 

  Even with the TN3270-8 emulation set, it locks up. 

 

 Is there something else that I need to set?

 

 What can I do to troubleshoot?  

 

 

I'm not a java developer by any means, but I'm willing to do what I can to help further this tool.
